Top Leadership Roles Changing in Patchogue

After over two decades as the Executive Director of the Village of Patchogue Business Improvement District, Dennis Smith has recently announced he will be retiring this coming Fall. Dennis is also resigning his position as Special Projects Director for the Village as well at the same time.
Upon a recommendation by Dennis Smith and Village of Patchogue Mayor Paul Pontieri, current Greater Patchogue of Commerce Executive Director David Kennedy has been approached and accepted the opportunity to fill both roles on or about October 1. Kennedy stresses that in filling these roles, he will provide the same support and guidance to the new Chamber Executive as Smith provided him during his tenure, ensuring a seamless transition.
