Last weekend, the Village of Brightwaters held their annual Christmas Tree Lighting with the largest crowd to date. The village gave a special thanks to the Bay Shore Fire Department, Bay Shore High School Show Stoppers for the beautiful music, the Brightwaters Deli for providing the hot chocolate, Bay Shore Classroom Teachers Association for the cookies, Marykate and Matt Moley and Steven and Kat Andrich for giving out the hot chocolate and cookies, Brightwaters Department of Public Works Department, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus!
