Suffolk County, SBU to host virtual COVID-19 vaccine Q&A

Have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine? Suffolk County Office of Minority Health and Stony Brook University Medicine may be able to help.

Tune into the virtual COVID-19 Questions and Answers session, led by infectious disease experts and medical professionals, on June 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The free event led by Suffolk County Office of Minority Health and Stony Brook University Medicine features panelists Dr. Sharon Nachman and Dr. Kimberly Herrera both of Stony Brook Medicine, and Suffolk County Department of Health's Dr. Gregson Pigott. 

The session will be streamed to the Suffolk County Legislature’s and Presiding Officer Rob Calarco's Facebook pages promptly at 6:00 p.m. 

The event will begin with the participating physicians presenting slides that address common misconceptions related to the COVID-19 vaccines.
