Legis. Steven J. Flotteron, along with (L-R) art teacher Megan Brady, mom Kellie Petito, principal Rhonda Pratt, and assistant superintendent Dawn Morrisen recognized a second grader at Paul J. Bellew Elementary School in West Islip, Angelina Petito, as the “Be Pool Smart” poster winner for the 11th Legislative District.
Angelina’s poster shows her understanding of the potential dangers faced by all swimmers here in Suffolk County. Her poster reinforces Suffolk County’s public education campaign to promote the importance of pool safety.
