The Sayville farmers’ market is in full swing and will be held at the Islip Grange on Broadway until the end of fall.
One of the staples of the farmers’ market is Taylor Kyriacou of Specialty Sweets, whose decadent treats are the stuff of confectionary legend and a must-have weekend indulgence.
This is Kyraciou’s third year participating in the market.
“It’s always a great season with awesome vendors. I love being able to see all my customers in person and chat with them, and also meet other small-business owners! I try to keep my menu updated, so I’m always adding new items such as edible cookie dough and cookie butter cheesecake bars. But my customers will always expect the classics: cannoli-stuffed rainbow crumb cake, half-pound cookies, and funfetti cookies and cream banana pudding!,” said Kyraciou.
