Beloved Bayport turkey becomes mom

Throughout the past year, social media in the Bayport area has had a steady stream of wild turkey photos. A big male was dubbed Tom and at least two different turkey families wandered with children in tow. A new turkey was spotted last week learning the neighborhood with mom at Oakwood Avenue and was greeted with well wishes in a community Facebook group.
