Over $25K in grocery gift cards given in 20 years

The Bayport Civic Association held its 20th annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway with the generosity of community members.

Over the past 20 years, the BCA has handed out 10 tons of free turkeys and $25,000 worth of King Kullen gift cards to those in need in the community.

This year, distributions were made at the Sylvan Avenue Elementary School, the Bayport United Methodist Church Outreach, the Our Lady of Snow Food Pantry, and the Sayville Food Pantry.
